The AQUAREA Čierna Voda Diving Photography and Film Festival 2027 is an international themed photography and film competition in various categories, whose first edition we are launching in spring 2027.
The purpose of the event is to present photographs and films by professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers, created underwater in fresh or salt waters. The festival will also include the International Underwater Photography Competition, which will take place over a single competition day, 15 May 2027, directly at the AQUAREA Čierna Voda Dive Center.
Besides creative work itself, the idea of the festival is to bring together the diving, photography and filmmaking communities, exchange experience and make new contacts and friendships. During the festival there will be presentations of photographic and filmmaking equipment from renowned brands, along with workshops and lectures on interesting topics.
