The Diving Festival of Photography and Film AQUAREA Čierna Voda 2026 is an international thematic competition in photography and film across various categories, with its first edition launching in autumn 2026.
The mission of the event is to present photographs and films by both professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers created beneath the surface of fresh and salt waters. The festival will also include an International Underwater Photography Competition, which will take place during one competition day on 26 September 2026 directly at the AQUAREA Čierna Voda Dive Center.
The idea of the festival is not only the creative work itself, but also bringing together the diving, photography, and filmmaking communities, exchanging experiences, and building connections and friendships. During the festival, there will be presentations of photographic and filmmaking equipment from renowned brands, along with workshops and lectures on interesting topics.
