Čierna Voda
PROPOSITIONS
Participation Conditions:
Both amateur and professional filmmakers may participate; the film must have been produced after 2015.
An author may submit a maximum of 3 films in each category.
Participants are required to register by submitting a properly completed FORM (APPLICATION in electronic form).
Payment instructions will be sent subsequently.
The participation fee of 15 EUR must be paid at the same time as submitting the film (the fee already includes entrance to the venue/DC for the award ceremony on 26 September 2026).
Deadline for applications and film submission: 31 August 2026.
By submitting a film to the competition, the author consents to the processing of their personal data provided in the application for festival purposes and assumes full responsibility for copyright matters.
Competition Categories:
A – Films from Underwater
This category includes films in which underwater footage represents at least 30% of the total runtime and the film does not exceed 30 minutes.
B – Short Underwater Videos
This category includes short videos/spots in which underwater footage represents at least 30% of the total runtime and the film does not exceed 3 minutes.
Submission of Works:
The data file should be sent to divecenter@aquarea.sk via Uschovna.cz, Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.
The participant must include their name and the password “FFF2026” in the note when sending the data files.
Recommended format: MP4, recommended resolution 1920 × 1080, codec H264, audio format 2.0.
Films submitted in other formats or resolutions may not be accepted due to technical limitations on the organizer’s side.
Presentation of Films:
Films will be screened during the festival in separate blocks. In case of a large number of submissions, a pre-selection will be made.
Awards:
1st to 3rd place in each occupied category A and B.
Best Slovak Diving Film in categories A and B.
Special awards and honorary mentions.
Award Ceremony:
Awards will be presented during the festival evaluation on 26 September 2026 in the evening at the AQUAREA Čierna Voda Dive Center (see festival PROGRAM).
Notice:
Diplomas and honorary mentions will be sent by email to absent authors after the festival. Physical prizes will not be sent to absent winners; they can be collected personally from the organizer by 31 August 2027.
